Site Information 

The Aurora location is the primary location for all athletes who live east of I-25, and South of I-70.  The weeknight practices for Aurora are moving to Hinkley High School, Tuesday nights from 6:00pm-8:00pm.  

Saturday workouts will remain at Hinkley High School but the time is changing to 9:45am-Noon.  Please be on deck and ready to stretch at 9:45am.

These times sometimes change due to scheduling conflicts.  Changes are announced through team e-mails.

 

Coaches

Assistant Head Coach Mark Isenburg will continue to coach team-wide practices at Hinkley on Saturday mornings.  Coach Kyle Davenport will handle the Tuesday evening practices at Smoky Hill.

 

Mark Isenburg has been with Colorado Water Polo since 2003.  Mark also coached boys and girls high school teams in Salt Lake City, Utah for 11 seasons.  Mark played on the University of Utah club team.  Mark is a USWP certified coach.

 

Kyle Davenport is the newest coach for Colorado Water Polo.  A Denver native, he swam four years at Overland High School before attending Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.  Kyle played club water polo at Northwestern.  He also coached varsity and junior varsity water polo at New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois.  Kyle and his wife moved back to Denver three years ago and Kyle's wife, Alexis Keto, is the head coach for the Colorado Athletic Club Stingrays swim team.  

 

New Players

New players are always welcome.  Swimming experience is preferred but not necessary.  Many of our top players started without a competitive swimming background.  New players are also welcome to try out the team for two weeks before committing to the team or paying dues.
